My first amigurumi pattern: bear

This lovely bear is my very first original amigurumi pattern. When I first took up the hobby of making amigurumi in April'10, I made most of my amigurumi critters by looking at others pattern with some modification or none at all. I'm really happy that within the short period of 4 months into this hobby, that I am able to make my very first original piece, crafted by me from top to bottom!

My dad suggested to me to make a puffy little heart amigurumi and here it is!

Crochet Handphone Slip on

I was looking through Mel's blog entry entitled, "Shades of pink" yesterday and also saw a reader's comment on her blog which state that she was the Malaysian Martha Stewart!! (absolutely true, a very gifted lady).

The entry inspired me to try and play around with few yarn of different colours at a time and so, I came out with this hand phone slip- on pouch. I made it to fit snugly to my phone, to cushions the blow EVERY time I drop my handphone, which happens very often!

Shades of pink and purple pouch, using Ondori yarns

It was also my first time doing free crocheting, so no patterns for this item, just single crochet it up all the way!

Amigurumi: Dolphin

This is my first attempt to make a dolphin and it's the hardest pattern that I have done, up to date.

Here is a picture I found on the internet:

Here is mine!

Hmmm, should I add some details to it? Like a mouth? Coz it sort of eerily resemble a shark at some angle? Comments anyone?

Not the final "look" yet. Gonna alter the "top" fin! It's too big...

Tadaaa....this is the final look. I have reduced the dorsal fin size.
